Music

Since 4th grade, I have always had a fascination for music and it's unique medium for storytelling. Playing the Alto Saxophone throughout both elementary and middle school, I found music as an outlet for my creativity to be expressed out loud.

Concert Band

While in 7th grade, I stood out from my peers with my experience and knowledge of music. I earned the Most Outstanding Musician out of the entire concert and an Outstanding Solo Ensemble Performance for my efforts, the highest two awards possible individually.

Honor Band

In my last school year of playing band, I earned the Most Improved Musician out of all Alto Saxophones and performed a solo within the school's extracurricular Jazz band at a district-level Jazz competition.
